NMB girls lacrosse coach optimistic for 2026 season

By John Smithson The girls lacrosse players received a few final comments after practice last Thursday and head coach Danielle Lowrimore smiled as she walked toward me standing on the sideline at The Hank. Loris Regional Lions Club has become a charter

By Kaye Collins Loris has officially gathered sufficient members in the Loris Regional Lions Club (LRLC) to achieve official charter status. The North Myrtle Beach Lions Club has sponsored the establishment of the LRLC and has provided guidance to President Sherrie Keen and other officers in leading the group towards success. In recognition of the successful membership drive, which welcomed 20 new men and women to the group, a celebration is planned for 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at Barn View Winery located at 2080 Liberty Church Road. Flowers is Miss Loris High School 2026

The event was organized by Music Director Joy Jordan. Lions basketball lose playoffs

Despite an outstanding performance during the regular season, the Lions were unable to translate that success into this playoff match. They suffered a 70 to 66 defeat against the Fox Creek Predators on Monday, Feb. 23. This loss for the Lions marked the conclusion of their impressive 16-game winning streak.
