Green Sea Historical Marker is revealed

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the Horry County Historic Preservation Commission unveiled the Green Sea Historic Marker at the intersection of Green Sea Road and Mitchell Sea Road. The origins of the community date back to 1784, when William Norton was awarded 200 acres of land, which includes the location of the historical marker. Veterans Day program held at NMB Sports Complex

American Legion Post Commander Len Tobin welcomed the Legion Riders and introduced Post Chaplain Mark Fahner for the invocation. Memorial Gardens holds service event

North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens  invites the community and visitors to join the more than two million volunteers and supporters who will gather on Saturday, December 13, at 12 noon in all 50 states, at sea and abroad to remember, honor and teach at more than 5,200 participating locations.
